In 2010, the Boy Scouts of America will celebrate its 100th Anniversary. Rod Frankel, President of Occoneechee Council, states, “Scouting has a long history of traditional values and time tested processes, but Scouting also lives by its motto ‘Be Prepared’. Our council leadership is very grateful that Carolyn has helped us to use current marketing tools in communicating with our audience.”

Rhinebarger is the author of numerous articles on marketing, a speaker on various marketing topics, and has appeared on national radio and television. Her company, Strategic Guru, utilizes new and innovative communication tools to execute successful marketing strategies that help clients achieve sales goals.

“The interest in social media marketing right now is enormous,” said Rhinebarger. “Tools like Twitter and Facebook may seem easy enough but understanding how to use them to effectively achieve your goals is where the learning curve is. This talk addressed that with a step-by-step approach to building a strategy for social media.”
